South Jingle Pot is very similar to its northern neighbour and is relatively close to the downtown core. South Jingle Pot is slightly more developed than the northern section. There are several different subdivisions around West Wood Lake, which also adjacent to the University District. The West Wood Lake Area is relatively new so you will find recent developments and prices are a little bit higher than in other established areas.  The West Wood Lake area is also popular as a recreational spot. Many people go swimming in the lake in the summer and go hiking through the many trails.
